Center: Skywest, contact Chicago on 134.75

Skywest: <female...laughing> Chicago....hahah...um...on....hahaha

Center: C'mon Skywest, don't go laughin' at me now...

Skywest: No...hahah....it's not you...my captain's givin' me good humor today. (I don't even know what this means)

Center: Mmmmmmmm hmmmmmmmmmm

Skywest: No really! He's trying to hold my hand!!

Flying into Addison, TX today, ATC vectored a King Air onto the ILS15. Apparently the intercept angle was 50deg.

RegApp: KingAir 12345, fly heading 1-0-0, 4 miles from the OM, cleared ILS 15 approach, contact Addison twr 126.0.

KingAir: Heading 1-0-0, cleared ILS15. Whisky Tango Foxtrot on the vector to intercept?!?!

RegApp: Whisky Tango Foxtrot? OH! Yeah, sorry about that.

While sitting at Gate 23/25 in JFK "delta connection" Ramp.... Ramp control tells Chautauqua to

"...park at Lima and ONLY Lima"...as they always phrase it as such....the chautauqua crew (apparently new to kenndey....and possibly flying in general...ok sorry that was mean.)

Anyway, the Crew parks at Juliet... where the ramp crew flagged them in and reports to Ramp that the ground crew parked them at juliet.

Ramp responded with " ....I told you Lima and only Lima!"

Chautauqua "....well they taxiied us into Juliet, what did you want us to do...?!"

Ramp "Chautauqua! If they taxiied you into a sewer would you follow them!!"

Classic new york!....not "off a bridge" or "into a jetway" ....but "into a sewer!"

I love it when people say Unicorn instead of Uniform. Had a captain doing that the other day and it kept cracking me up. Especially because ATC never acknowledges that they're saying Unicorn.

Funny, I've never gotten that instruction while at Kennedy. I have gotten thanks for my heads-up lack of parking at the wrong spot (like the rampers want us to do) and for not hitting the plane behind us during the push (because another unnamed airline has pushed to the wrong spot). Maybe it's just me...

It must be just you. Usually Howie says it every time he clears someone into the ramp.
