Cool Having Fun

I believe this picture was taken in ST Martin VI. I use to fly to the Carribean
Islands in a former life. There were/are some challeging approaches.........ST Martin, ST Thomas and Montiego Bay............and that was in a B727!. Must be a real hoot in a Widebody!

A little trivia.......there were always spectators on the beach in St Martin (about the time when this approach was filmed) In 1989 several people were treated at the local hospital. They were all knocked down and rolled over the beach when the Wake vortices of an Air France 747 hit them like a ton of bricks. I have heard stories that small autos on the beach road have actually been rocked pretty good by the vortices.
