If they exsisted (UFOs), Jungle would have pics of them!

I hit a bumblebee (at least that's what I gathered from the remains on my windshield) at 8000 feet over Iowa while building some twin time on a cross country.

Sucker was loud and scared the $h.. out of me!

What's it called when a space rock hits the ground? Is it a meteorite or a meteor? One of them burns up, the other makes it to the ground...

Anyway, I saw one hit the ground about 50 miles away. The news confirmed it the next day.

If it hits the ground the piece on the ground is a meteorite. What did you see? Did you see a flaming, streaking thing smash in the ground with a big bang or is that too Hollywood?

It was out of the corner of my eye, and SUPER fast. Just a quick streak through the sky and a flash on the ground. I'm sure it wasn't very big, don't remember how big the crater was.

Apparently one just was captured on a camera along with the streak and sonic boom. read it on a news site.

A rather large bug hit the windscreen one time at FL190. I didn't know bugs flew that high. Whatever it was, it left a rather large splat on the windscreen.

I saw a space balloon that was at 150,000 ft up. I was at 37,000 ft. IT was glowing bright with the sun setting and reflecting off of it. I thought i was crazy and i asked ATC just to ask and they confirmed it was a nasa space balloon doing atmospheric testing. WILD
