Very neat, that thing certainly has a lot of cupholders. Just out of curiosity, what is that thing hanging down from the roof? Is it a HUD or giant sunscreen?

That is a HUD hanging down from the roof. I'm surprised that they didn't put one on first officer's side as well?

I'm surprised the cockpit is as small as it is. The Jumpseats look like ironing boards and the pilot seats don't look that cushy. I expected a couple first class style seats for the jumpseats. I also don't like the video camera hanging down so big brother can watch you.

Most CAT II & III autoland approaches don't require more than one pilot going visual, so two huds would be a waste of money. I'm sure Airbus would put two in if you wanted to pay for them.
