No mousepad needed. The Logitech laser cordless does just fine without. HSLD is getting some test prints done as we speak, vagabond.

Speaking of Monitors:

A bonus to VISTA, other than it now seems to work- is that there is a dual monitor emulator on most of the video cards on laptops now- maybe desktops also- I have a dual monitor on my new-ish Toshiba U305 laptop by plugging the VGA output cord into a normal external monitor- there are sever hotkey selections for how it runs- You may have an old monitor laying around that can come back to life.

I also found a 10' cord on Ebay that has the 1/8" stereo plug along w/ the VGA output for TV use.

I saw some gateways now have HDMI output in their laptops- too cool.
