Fun Approaches

The approach into Dominica, Mellville Hall airport, in an ATR 72. (DOM/TDPD). I bet the Amerijet folks had more fun doing it in the 727!

We took off and landed the same direction, runway 9, because of the mountains on the west side of the airport. The approach was made through a valley between the bananna trees. Fun stuff!
The "Bridge Visual 10" at SJU was fun too! The things you can do in a turboprop!

I agree: DCA River Vis 19; also Juneau RNP 26; Juneau LDA 08 circle 26; Kodiak VOR 25 circle 18; Ketchikan ILS 19 circle 01; Petersburg (Alaska)RNP 04; Wrangell (Alaska) RNP 10.
I never did fly into Dutch Harbor, but the Mud-Hen drivers ( Alaska Airlines 737-200 Combi with gravel runway kit) out of Anchorage did, and they all thought it was pretty challenging and fun. I think ERA and Pen Air does it now.

Visual into Marathon florida while dodging a t-storm cell from 2000AGL on final was definitely one of them.
Also one of the GPS approaches into Stuart FL. If you drop to your last stepdown quickly you get to fly low over the inland waterway and over some pretty cool scenery.
