Default A-4 pilots

Any A-4 pilots on this board? Justs curious...One of my favorite planes.

I have a little over one hundred hours in the TA-4J and other variants, they are a delight to fly and have the narrowest cockpit of any plane I have flown. Fantastic roll rate, beautiful and simple design, and a very nice platform for gunnery and bombing. One of the most responsive aircraft ever built.

Along with the Tomcat I have 1600 hours in TA-4Js, A-4Es, and A-4F. The Tomcat was like a caddi but the skyhawk especially the "F" was like a porche........

I was actually watching the video that Captaincarl posted in tribute to Charlie Mohrle, but saw this video in the preview window. I clicked on it because it was also about vintage warbirds. The first minute of the video shows an A-4L that I sue to fly. I assume that this must have been part of the process prior to the company I flew it for acquired (leased) it for business.
