Just stay away from S/II's with the TKS deice. The juice is expensive, and those leading edges are damaged really easy by bonehead fuelers that don't know the difference.

Used to be an Avanti driver...it's fast, cheap to operate and seriously roomy. You can fly it 50 miles or across the country (we flew ours to Europe occasionally.) It is BY FAR the best all around aircraft on the market.
Used, your talking just under $3M Call Jimmy at Din Aero. He is known in the Avanti world as Papa Piaggio. Super guy.

20 Knots faster than the Citation 2 on half the fuel, a HELL of a lot roomy (same as hawker 800) and good support in the US.

For the dig on maintenance call Chris Hoskins at Jet Works Aviation (FTW) in Denton Texas.

Jets only make sense when they go fast. The Avanti makes the designers over at Cessna look like 8th graders.

cant beat the operating costs on a pilatus, little on the slow side though.
