Yes. I just got back. Saw the Thunderbirds while sitting on the beach. Going back next week too. Go Patriots (I used to live in RI).

Just flew a trip there from LAX; then, flew out just as T-Birds were practising. Then, got DH'ed to ATL for a trip to Europe.

Flew into Hnl this morning, tomorrow direct to Hong Kong. Khabarovsk Anchorage a couple days later.

Khabarovsk? Thats my home town back in russia (11 years ago)

Flew on seattle - anchorage - Khabarovsk route multiple times (passenger)

Negative LAHSO is a real good idea. HNL ATC is terrible and rude. Best government money can buy.
I live in Paradise and wouldn't move for all the flying in EWR.

I was just curious to see how many pilots on here come through Hawaii...aside from my flying hobby, I fuel commercial planes and currently saving money to go to ATP in PHX. I love my job, get to talk to experience pilots such as all the folks who posted on this thread. I just can't be making a good living doing fueling as a career.

Saw the Thunderbirds, they were awesome as always. It was too bad about the weather, a little cloudy that day. The Blue Angels will be doing a show next month. Look forward to seeing that show.

Im already looking for hotels in Arizona...WERE GOING TO THE SUPERBOWL!!!
