That is freaking awesome!!! If I was single (and 110% confident in my knowledge of how electricity works), I would consider that job.

That was a great find. Looks like it could be an IMAX or something.

I'd fly the choppa though. That's a "best of the best" type of job there!

Faraday cage's are cool. They eliminate eletrical fields. Cellphones, Radio's and wireless internet connection wont work etc.

If you know how to handle it, electricity is safe. But one slip is all you need.

Un beliveable! Gotta be a good paying gig though. The rotor head flying the chopper would have to be top of the line pilot.

Guy must be a hit at the local schools career day.

Correctamundo! It was from an IMAX film called "Straight Up: Helicopters in Action" that was put out by the Smithsonian NASM. I got it from Netflix a while back and it's definitely worth the rent.

They spent something like 18 months documenting heli jobs across the globe. Covers everything from the U.S. Coasties, to EMS/SAR in Europe, African Wildlife management, logging ops, and a few others... Very well done, IMHO. And I believe Martin Sheen was the narrator.

"There's only three things I've ever been afraid of: electricity, heights, and women. And I'm married, too."

Simply, wow.
