The sad truth when it comes to what Regionals pay first and second year FO's. I liked his other point is the use of smaller aircraft. That honestly is probably a greater contributing factor than ever. Now that the demand is up, I feel it's time to start moving back into larger aircraft again. Just my 2 cents.

Think it will ever happen? Letting the bean counters cut corners is a one way road to a dead end... But, In my inexperienced opinion I think within ten to twenty years we could swing the other way and have fewer, larger aircraft taking over the routes of smaller aircraft.
