Had a beer in PHL the other day called "Turbodog" brewed in Abita Springs, LA.

Anyone know why that name? I remember the ACE Learjets out of Ft.Wayne used that as their callsign.

Sierra Nevada's Pale Ale is my current favorite. Good cold, good at room temp, good, good, good. Also a big fan of their stout. Much better than Guinness. Also like Sam Adams Cream Stout--chocolatey.

Allegash White Ale is good, but I can't get it around here.

Can you still get Ballantine India Pale Ale? A NYC buddy of mine introduced me to that 30 years ago before anybody else made it. A revelation. Haven't seen that in a long time. Best beer ever brewed, IMHO.

Just because it's brewed in Texas doesn't make it the best ever It's good though

Being brewed in Texas makes it not only the best beer ever, but the best beverage ever, period.
Plus, 12oz bottles of Shiner are bigger than everybody else's 12oz bottles. EVERYTHING's bigger in Texas!
Texas is its own country. The US needs Texas, but Texas don't need the US!

I like Sierra Nevada and Blue Moon, St. Pauly Girl.. I couldn't grow to like Guinness, New Castle or Sam Adams even after many six packs, Hieniken is always a good choice. I don't really get as hammered as a did in my highschool days... Back then anything would of did it, Colt 45, King Cobra, 211, night train, Milwakees best, Natty Light, Olde English.
