Are Texas School admin hurting Airlines?
I can think back to when I was a kid in Texas and school would start at the very beginning of September.
nowadays schools are going back as early August! I know just about everybody hates it but yet administrators say it’s better.
I’ve even read reports that it’s starting to hurt the tourism industry in the summer.
just wondering how Airlines are affected not sure about the rest of the country but I know in Texas it’s gotten out of hand with school starting so soon.
I know typically airline summer is from Labor Day to memorial day (May to September)

With the abandonment of teaching kids how to think rather than what to think, how can you trust the institution? And it may be going liberals’ way today, but what happens when the pendulum swings too far the other way? This is why those entrusted with our kids need to commit to neutrality.
Point to a public school system that isn’t failing its students in a big way.

Homeschooling is a natural and understandable reaction to the multitude of failure modes in the public schools.
But school also socializes kids, so homeschooling carries risks in that regard. Depends on the kid, and also what opportunities they have to interact with other kids and society in general.
Charter and private schools are probably better overall. Charter schools = taking back the education system from self-absorbed teacher unions and extremist politicians.

Are there some bad teachers? Sure. There are bad pilots and lawyers and doctors too. But it's absurd to claim that the entire entire educational system is failing and indoctrinating children en mass

Teachers union president fighting tooth and nail to keep teachers in the comfort of their own homes and kids out of school after covid was the final straw.
