Not any time soon.

Western certification requires specific processes and documentation from design all the way through production and post-production follow-through.

PRC didn't do any of that, more like some guys in a garage slapped an airplane together.

Will it fly? Sure.

Will it be safe? Probably but there might be unpleasant surprises (like what happens when boeing achieves "regulatory capture").

Will it be cheap. Probably.

Will it be operationally economical compared to western products? Not a chance.

Will it enjoy the global support infrastructure of BCA, AB, and EMB? Not a chance.

Can it even be certified in the west? Almost certainly not.

Even the PRC views this as a starter project. I'm guessing for their next generation they'll try to bake the certification aspect into the process from the outset. Or maybe the third generation. Depends on how many they can sell as-is to BRICS and the third world.
