It truly was an amazing effort by all of nato to coordinate such a profound logistical feat of arming an inferior military to be able to not only withstand the RU, but outfight and hopefully push back to the original post 2014 borders. Slava Ukraine.
That's going to be interesting considering there are millions of people in two of those provinces that very much do not want to be part of Ukraine.
Also try not to sound so delusional it's embarrassing.

Whom has "cratered the futures & dreams of so many souls"?
I will answer it for you....Russia,- by invading Ukraine. Ukraine has been attacked. Her citizens have been killed en-mass. Thousands have been outright murdered.

Past history, including history as recent as Russia's war in Chechnya and Ossetia, means if it prevails Russia will murder local leaders such as town mayors etc. They will murder news paper editors and reporters. They will murder teachers and authors whom teach and write in Ukrainian. They will murder the officers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. (they will claim the Geneva Convention does not apply, as since Ukraine, and its language, does not exist, they have been in rebellion for taking up arms against Russian forces).

It IS NOT hard to understand! This is the effing reality. .Russian soldiers have invaded. They have killed innocents wantonly. They will continue to do so...and pave the way for the FSB to slaughter all who do not submit in the manner desired. They will re-establish the rule of the Vory and destroy any who cling to the notion of nationhood.
And even then the war will continue. People will not quietly submit to being re-colonized by Russians. They will fight. Russian police will burn rebel villages with the people still inside.

Or, Putin could end this. He could withdraw his army.
This war was started by Putin. Ukraine is fighting back...for it's survival. The West is providing Ukraine with material means, but the war would continue without that aid. Western aid just lessens the degree of the Russian slaughter of innocents.

The Russian Nation was in an existential crisis even before this invasion. Putin has started events that are quite likely to prove a profound paradigm shift regarding the future of Eurasia, how the maps will look, and our very outlooks regarding Democracy, International Law, and what we owe our fellow man.

Start recognizing who has started this war. Stop implying blame for those who are trying to help those who are doing the fighting back.
Pay more attention to people who don't try to explain this war from a Western viewpoint.

To keep this in the realm of reality……we are providing logistics only, and I believe everyone wants to keep it that way. So let’s not jump to US boots on the ground. That would just be a waste of your time. Its an incredibly long road until that happens and you can cross that bridge and cry havoc if that comes to fruition.

Which of course will be far too late. Time to address the standoff is before this great Spring offensive you panzer gamers are so giddy waiting on. BTW, there ARE boots on ground, plenty. Just a few exits up the road in Kielbasaville. What do you suppose Lapdog is up to in Ankara, all smiles and handshakes? NATOs second largest standing army. Deeper engagement absent 'boots' is a long con 'we've' fallen for more than once.

US Inaugurates First Permanent Army Base in Poland

STAFF WRITER WITH AFP FOLLOW ON TWITTERMARCH 21, 2023
1 MINUTE READThe United States on Tuesday inaugurated its first permanent army base in Poland, which the ambassador to Warsaw said was a sign of NATO unity in the face of Russian aggression.

More than 10,000 US soldiers are currently stationed in Poland, which has become the main transit country for international aid and equipment to neighbor Ukraine.

The US garrison — the eighth in Europe — was established in the western city of Poznan.

“This is historic. And it signals that we are here to stay,” Mark Brzezinski, the US ambassador, said at the inauguration ceremony.

Also I would like to see accountability for all the U.S. aid package money. Of course that will never happen. How much never makes it or just circles back clean?…🤷‍♂️ Just think of what that money could have done for our own population if it where actually to be applied in a helpful way. Instead of an offensive, I think Ukraine should be shoring up their side of the probable new border on their side of the river. If NATO and the rest got serious then that should be the new red line to contain any further Russian expansion. I seriously have doubts that Ukraine, even with assistance, will be able to reclaim all the territory at this point. Just my opinion.

In my professional opinion (yes I used to do this for a living) I think there's a decent chance that UR *could* actually reclaim all of it with (non-boots) support from the west. Crimea is not as sure of a thing.

But there are practical problems with that...

1. RU reaction, especially WRT to the Sevastapol naval base.
2. They'd return to a status quo of disruptive RU-backed insurgency, little green men, etc.
3. RU probably wouldn't agree to many or any terms in that case, the whole thing would just continue to simmer indefinitely.
