So you are contrarian with max, get asked a simple question, and refuse to answer because you actually know the answer. If you perceive “i can’t understand you” as an insult , then you need to adjust your threshold.
however if you are confusing yourself with your other account…..i stand by my statements. I am not convinced that your third party reference was not in fact a mistake you made whilst thinking you were typing under the cargo profile.
im sorry that pointing out your errors of perception regarding information warfare touch a nerve.

There are rational indicators that you are the same account. You of course may not be, but if that is the case, then you are behaving in an exceedingly odd way. You tend to come to his defense at random times, and then perform “light” counters to his points at random times. If no one answers him for a while, you then come flying in out of the blue and pretend to show interest. Your use of your own name in that post was perfectly aligned to be from cargo. Furthermore, your use of poetry whilst you speak almost indicates a method of attempting to cover up your normal speech pattern.
do i care? No.
is this entertainment? Yes
does anything really matter? No
am i laughing at the unit known as cargo/meto? You bet your ass lol. By all means keep feeding me. This place is a joke and im harvesting my entertainment from it. No more, no less
kargo deserves absolutely zero respect for the way he has behaved here. The meto account less so

you are truly not making sense anymore. Firstly, my response directly to you had no particular insult in it. I said I respectfully disagree and then explained my position. You then launch into something about insults, which by tracking the conversation can only pertain to me insulting cargo. So now I’m kind of confused? Are you getting insulted on his behalf? Which is kind of odd because you immediately launch into insulting him.

The current vessel for executing and delivering false information is so far beyond what it was in the 40s-90s i would respectfully counter that the world is objectively facing a new crisis that we have never faced before. Last i read, 2800 right wing influencers have been identified by the DOJ as having been paid by the RU government to directly influence millions of people. That has never happened on this scale before. The ability to send propaganda directly to the computer screens of millions of sheep has not existed until recently.
this is not just a “deep fakes are nothing new” moment. This is a revolution in the execution of informational warfare.

It was sooo much easier during the 'Evil Empire' days.

Fahrenheit 451, Bradbury. State controlled media, book burning. Far fetched then but conceivable. Less unthinkable in the AI panic at present. Our enemies actively use improved misinformation tools, we’ve confirmed it, the FBI director has testified to such. There are countless cells, jihadis and homespun whackos to consider. Excargodog, whoever he is, not one of them. Hubcapped either. One’s an alter-ego pundit with a hardon for NATO. The other a neurotic poster girl/boy. Otoh, I do moonlight for deep state

Nor does your denial of reality, for that matter.

Another voice heard from…
https://www.foreignaffairs.com/unite...s-isolationism
An excerpt:
Democrats need to find the middle ground between an expansive liberal internationalism that is no longer sustainable at home or abroad and the dangerous isolationist excesses that would likely accompany Trump’s return to the presidency. That middle ground entails standing by Biden’s multilateralism and his investment in old alliances and new partnerships, moves that have resuscitated U.S.-led collective action and restored the nation’s image as a team player. At the same time, the United States must avoid the bouts of strategic overreach, such as in Afghanistan and Iraq, that encourage the electorate to gravitate toward isolationist alternatives.
In Ukraine, that middle ground requires working to broker a cease-fire and focusing on ensuring that the 80 percent of the country still under Kyiv’s control is secure, prosperous, and stable. With Ukraine up against relentless aggression from a much larger neighbor, that outcome would qualify as a success by any reasonable measure. In the Middle East, Washington should seek to end the violence in Gaza and then lay out a pathway to Palestinian self-determination and normalization of Israel’s relationships with its neighbors. The United States should stand up to Chinese ambition, but also avoid unnecessary provocations that could lead to an irreversible geopolitical rupture. Washington should work intently to cooperate with Beijing to tame rivalry and advance joint efforts to tackle global challenges.
The United States cannot afford to run away from the world, as it did during the long era of isolationism. But it can no longer seek to run the world, which it has neither the power nor the domestic consensus to do. Instead, Americans need to learn to live in a world of ideological diversity and multiple conceptions of order, working alongside other centers of power, democracies and nondemocracies alike. Pragmatic realism should guide U.S. statecraft
An excerpt:
PREEMPTING “AMERICA FIRST”
Trump’s brand of U.S. statecraft has deep roots in the American experience and, like the original version of isolationism, has something for almost everyone, giving it broad appeal across the American electorate. Democrats dismiss his “America first” agenda as strategic delusion at their own peril. Instead, they should preempt it by embracing its best elements.Democrats need to find the middle ground between an expansive liberal internationalism that is no longer sustainable at home or abroad and the dangerous isolationist excesses that would likely accompany Trump’s return to the presidency. Lets be clear, not “everyone” thinks you are the unit now known to me as margo, but “i” certainly think it’s possible. However im not insane enough to think that anyone else does, nor that anyone else even reads this. To use the word “everyone” is so patently insane it just makes me laugh out loud. Who is everyone on this anonymous forum? Do you have a special chat room? Do you meet for lunches every 3rd Thursday? Good grief margo, show me on the doll where ooooffff touched you
For clear concise reference of events here is the timeline
- You refute max
- I offer no insult to you, but merely a rebuttal
- You launch into defense of kargo as if you are kargo
- I call you out for seemingly odd behavior
- You have a conference with “everyone“ and deem i run oooffffs account
Go touch grass margo. Youll live longer
oh and nice second response in a row though i never said anything else….feeling defensive?
Or just answer direct questions like: do you think the delivery of false information has changed from say 1975? Its not hard unless you dont want to answer

Lets put aside the fact that you are a grown adult and you just “i know you are but what am i”’d me lol…….the FACT is that you have no logical basis for this assumption, as the very purpose of an alternate account is to play off the primary. I challenge you to find any existence of oooofffff and I interacting or otherwise residing in the same thread for any meaningful time or exchange in order to advance either of our narratives. Hint:you wont. Particularly in this thread where ooofff has NEVER posted lol.

I'm guessing throwing top hypersonics scientists in prison won't spur greater achievements in the field, one of the few in which Russia is still highly competitive.
https://www.nytimes.com/2024/09/04/w...cientists.html
"Russian scientists helped make their country a leader in developing cutting-edge missiles that fly at least five times as fast as the speed of sound. Then Russia started calling them traitors.
A Moscow court this week sentenced Alexander Shiplyuk, 57, the director of a Russian physics institute who specializes in hypersonic flight, to 15 years in prison for treason. Though the trial has been shrouded in secrecy, Mr. Shiplyuk’s advocates say he was accused of illegally sharing classified information. It was the latest step in a yearslong crackdown on some leading Russian physicists, a prong of the Russian government’s wide-ranging campaign of repression notable for its overlap with the country’s military industry.
Another senior scientist in Mr. Shiplyuk’s institute, the Khristianovich Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics in Siberia, was sentenced to 14 year in prison in May, and a third was arrested last year. At least eight other physicists working in fields related to hypersonic and supersonic flight have been arrested since 2015, according to Perviy Otdel, a group of Russian lawyers who specialize in treason and espionage cases."
