It’s on purpose. They don’t make admissions or release statements of regret. Only pathetically insulting excuses. Defines them as a culture beneath contempt. All the more reason to pressure free market trading partners for meaningful boundaries defended with unmistakable counter measures. Perception is everything.

I'm not denying intent. I'm saying neither you nor I have the facts to establish what intent was. $hit happens in wars. We had a pair of 5-15s shoot down a pair of Army Blackhawks once, believing them to be Hinds. I don't think the F-15s INTENT was to kill 26 people in a friendly fire accident but they sure did, and it wasn't even a war, just a no-fly zone for Pete's sake.

On the other hand two air superiority F-15 pilots who one would have thought would have known the difference between a couple of Hind-Ds and a couple of UH-60s with saddle tanks BOTH made the decision to kill what turned out to be friendly helicopters making an unforced error despite having AWACS available for sorting stuff out.
I repeat my question:
Ever been in a war?
And sometimes it doesn't even take a war. Here's an F-4 that shot down his own wingman in an entirely unforced error after being embarrassed by being outmaneuvered bt a QF-102 drone it was supposed to shoot down:

Did the pilot/WSO INTEND to fire the missile? H€LL yeah. Did they INTEND to down their wingman? Possible, but I doubt it. $hit happens in military operations.

oh please. There you go on and on again about the moral equivalence between us and the russians. Absolutely idiotic & completely unhelpful to your cause. The russians have proved time and time again that they don't give two sh!%s about civilian casualties and actually use indiscriminate targeting as a kind of terror tactic. We do our very best to operate within the laws of war and avoid unnecessary civilian casualties. I've seen this process in action and the people striving towards those ends are extremely dedicated and serious. I've seen the results of the same processes on the russian side (and no, i'm not referring to ukraine) and the they are nothing short of war crimes. If you are who you say you are, you'd know that. I suspect you are, and you do, but you've let all of your common sense be clouded by an information campaign largely targeted at an aging demographic that lacks the tools necessary to understand when they're being manipulated. Sad that some former patriots are so easily turned into shills for the undemocratic, illiberal forces of this world. Hopefully the rest of your generation isn't as weak minded.

Couple of 'em. Couple more depending on what constitutes an actual conflict vs just some new ribbons for the rack. You?
Also could be argued we're in a very real information war at this moment. Why do you keep insisting on amplifying the enemy's position?

It’s absolutely insane that anyone who has served is pushing that we let russia annex eastern bloc nations at will. After all the gold, blood, sweat and tears we have spent winning the cold war, i just cant really understand it. Weak minds indeed

Sometimes the juice just ain't worth the squeeze.
Sometimes it's somebody else's problem.
Sometimes it's somebody else's responsibility.
Sometimes the resources would be better spent on some more important problem
Sometimes the unintended consequences of what you intend to do are going to make things worse rather than better.
Given that we spent 20 years, $2.3 TRILLION (with a T), and the lives of almost 2500 service members and ~8000 contractors as well as over 20,000 service member wounded, are you advocating we go back and finish the job? Because you know the Taliban are still in control? And you know, that's a lot of "gold, blood, sweat, and tears".

Every war is an information war and there is propaganda on both sides. You know, like some media claims that somebody has never been sharper three days before he goes full zombie in a debate?

You've tried to excuse war crimes and now you're desperate to change the subject.
Your boys have been caught red handed blowing up a children's hospital on purpose. Not falling debris. A fully functional cruise missile caught on video before impact.
And here you are, still backing them. It's pretty disgusting.
