Yeah. I have an agenda. I dislike seeing conscripts on either side die in a meatgrinder because the politicians on both sides (WHO AREN'T DOING ANY OF THE DYING) are stupid or using a geopolitical issue to bolster their own power or prestige.

The difference is one is offensive meatgrinder for the leaders agenda. They other is defending their homes and homelands. Defending your homes and homeland are regarded as very worthy by all sorts of reglious, ethical, and moral people.

they will never get it. Their bias got exploited by russian disinformation.

the fact that this can all end at the top of the hour when ONE man wants it to, seems to fly over their heads.

Were the Russian missiles in Cuba a physical threat to the United States? They were over 90 miles away from even the keys, much farther than that to Miami. But we put SAC to DEFCON two and sent the Navy out to blockade them because JFK BELIEVED they were a threat. I wasn't there of course, but I think JFK assessed the situation correctly.

But yeah, I was in NATO. In a Strike squadron. We had OPLANS that were a threat throughout the entire range of our aircraft including refueling. What the hell do you think strike squadrons do for a living? Send their targets a strongly worded protest? That would be the State Department.

Take a look at Strike wing and squadron patches from less politically correct times. Maybe you'll get a clue.

i guess i missed the part where we placed nuclear assets in Ukraine. The 2 do not correlate in the slightest. Nice try pigeon.

wheat and a deep water port.

Im going to ask you 2 questions i know you wont answer
1. how does one invade a country with 6000 nuclear weapons and not kill themselves in the process?
2. If nato is a threat, why has russia pulled over 80% of its troops from nato borders?

absolute clown show of mental gymnastics

But you’re ok with those same soldiers forcibly entering another country’s territory, terrorizing the population, raping, pillaging, literally stealing children, and taking whatever else they desire? Frankly, the Russian conscript can go get f?$&ed as far as I’m concerned. As far as politicians using war to boost their own power, well, welcome to every war ever fought. Wouldn’t it be nice if guys like Putin could just find it within themselves to be benevolent? Any other fantasies you’d like to put forward in your defense of that beast?

Because, due to Turkey and Hungary's opposition, Ukraine is not YET a part of NATO. But yes, if the Ukraine does eventually become part of NATO it would be quite possible that nuclear weapons would be deployed there.

The United States and its NATO allies do not disclose exact figures for its European-deployed stockpiles. In 2021, it is estimated that there are 100 U.S.-owned nuclear weapons stored in five NATO member states across six bases: Kleine Brogel in Belgium, Büchel Air Base in Germany, Aviano and Ghedi Air Bases in Italy, Volkel Air Base in the Netherlands, and Incirlik in Turkey. The weapons are not armed or deployed on aircraft; they are instead kept in WS3 underground vaults in national airbases, and the Permissive Action Link (PAL) codes used to arm them remain in American hands. To be used, the bombs would be loaded onto dual-capable NATO-designated fighters. Each country is in the process of modernizing its nuclear-capable fighters to either the F-35A, the F-18 Super Hornet, or the Eurofighter Typhoon.

The total number of nuclear weapons based in Europe reached an all-time peak of 7,300 during the height of Cold War tensions in 1971
