Ukraine conflict

Nation states lie about their intentions all the time, both to their subjects and to the broader world.
Prudence demands buffer zones.

This is not an answer to the question. Do you think putin believed that nato would breach russia’s internationally recognized borders? Yes or no

Some real news:
-russia has finally tripped the 5000 mark on tanks lost
-in the north they have lost a combat groups worth of heavy equipment with no real gains, as well as 5 fixed wing aircraft in the last week. Each attack now has less vehicles than the previous.
-ukrainians are expanding their bridgehead in the south
-the US has officially committed to providing atacms rounds after reviewing the initial deployment by UA.
subjective analysis: with putins seemingly internal troubles creating an inability to execute a general mobilization, i think russia is in a very tough spot. They cannot generate sufficient reserves, nor are they rotating their front line troops. UA is assessed as still have operational reserves.
