I don’t buy your premise for several reasons, chief of which is you have options to avoid paying taxes, but, if we abolish taxes, now what NE pilot? How do we fund stuff?

It is not slavery because you have a choice to either leave the country or work unskilled labor jobs and not pay any taxes.

Your disagreement only proves my point. If you do certain things the state will allow you to keep more of the fruits of your labor.

Things get funded through voluntary exchange.

You choose to pay taxes by working a job that pays more than the cutoff. You can walk off your job whenever without any repercussions. Slavery is by definition forced labor in one form or another. Only the military and prison could be considered slavery.

I was not alive when the income tax was created, and therefore had no representation.
