Saw a report of a driver on I-82 between Yakima and Richland, WA. (If I recall the article from earlier today). He was clocked at 135 mph. The police found his car off the road a short distance later. They are still looking for the driver, last I heard.

it is worthy to note that entire area is sagebrush, with farms (apples, hops, wine grapes) where irrigated. No woods to hide in. Very rural.
