Even if it was funny, you could have said, spit my drink out my nose. Or, my scotch. No, you decided to be a “tool” and say, JW Blue.

It’s done now. The moment is over.
I took at as self-deprecating humor. From the perspective of a scotch enthusiast, admission to the consumption of ANY color or flavor of JW reflects poorly on your sensibilities Just kidding, sort of, JW is not all bad just so commercial as to be blase (if other options are limited you can reliably order black almost anywhere).

I like black as a mixer. Black and ginger ale is a winner for me on a summer evening.

Blue leaves so much to be desired. Can’t see how the price is justified. It’s expensive solely because people buy it just to say “JW Blue”. I’ve been given bottles of Blue as gifts, and they usually sit on the shelf, so many better single malt options out there for 1/3 the price.

Done. Maybe they should rename them “NotSoSmartwings”.

According to FlightDeckFriend, a twin-engine aircraft is able to fly perfectly well on a single-engine. In fact, it can even “continue the take-off and then safely land with just one engine”. The website goes on to say that “the loss of one engine in flight is not usually a particularly serious problem and the pilots are given extensive training to deal with such a situation”.

This is from the article. Appearantly FlightDeckFriend don’t know jack about aircraft systems. Loss of redundancy comes to mind. Also pack operations. Sure the plane may fly fine (maybe), but you loose additional protections and options.

Just my .02

ETOPS has nothing to do with the requirements of where to land after a engine failure. Nearest suitable airport means the same thing ETOPS or non ETOPS.

I always like to keep those additional protections and options tight.
