The major problems I see with it is 1.) I’m not paid for this and 2.) I’m definitely not trained how to do this. If I break something, I’ll be getting a call from the CP asking why I was tinkering with the LAV.

Unless he's an A&P and has directions from Maintenance Control.

3. If I get sick and try to file on OJI, management will say “fixing the lav isn’t part of your job so TS.”

Uh.....I think the fact that he’s disgracing our profession is a much bigger issue than 1 & 2. Give me a break.
