Hey look at me! I’m gonna besmirch a few thousand pilots based on my assumptions about who did something stupid anonymously!

Relax, this is an industry message board. No one here had respect for PSA to begin with!

Realistically it probably wouldn’t though, because I have a hard time believing there are numerous legitimate pilots who think it’s funny. It’s more likely the same tools over and over again. I think they’re more likely to be flight students or low timers with a PPL than regional pilots.
Wow, terminated for stupidity... You must be a joy to fly with. Is it stupid, yes. Remember when they used to say when you were kid that if they can get a rise out of you, they will keep doing it? Lighten up there Francis.

Nope but if one keeps contacting ops with an on the ground call several times on guard after being told more than once that they are on guard respectively, I might be inclined to give them a gate change "on Guard".

You do know that giving a "gate change" on guard is beyond childish, right? It's 2nd only to the ones who give clearance to taxi to the gate. That's potentially dangerous and unprofessional just because someone made a mistake on the radio. Do you also give fake landing clearances for fun too?

Agreed. I said I might be inclined. That doesn't mean that I would.

I think you are missing my point, but that's ok. Do I think its stupid to make animal noises on guard or any other frequency? Yes, I do. However, I don't think it is a fireable offense when if someone is being a j@#$$@$$. I've seen and heard much worse in this industry. JMHO

You don't think it's grounds for termination when you are unprofessional? Really?!

What would you say about a gate agent who ignores passengers? What would you say about a FA who gives a passenger the finger? What would you say about about a concessions worker who publicly complains about their customers and company?
