Clueless and curious. What do the 737 MAX crews do while the fleet is grounded (US-carrier based)? Limited 737 non-MAX flying due to plenty of available crew? If type’d on something else are they sent to get recurrent to be utilized elsewhere? Or is it a long home staycation getting paid for monthly mins?

I’m sure there’s a lot of ignorance in my question, so for that I apologize.

Its all 737 type. No one has to operate the max as a stand alone category.

So the crews are probably busy flying NG airframes.
