Paris Air Show 2019
Thinking about attending the Paris Air Show this year. Anybody ever been? Looking for advice and what I need to do. Of course I need to make sure I get the days off when I bid in May. The dates are June 17-23 but I think I will attend one or more of the trade visitors dates from 17-20. Do they do flyovers during the trade visitor days? Thx!

I’ve been as an exhibitor, yes, the flying show happens everyday. Not sure on the rules for trade days entrance. Le Bourget doesn’t have many hotel rooms nearby, we always stayed at CDG—Hyatt, Hilton, or God forbid, Pullman. Plan 30-45 minutes from CDG, more maybe much more from city center.

If you are a military officer (Active, Reserve, or Retired): I stayed at The Cercle National des Armées in Paris, or the French Officers Quarters, in 1989. I think it was about a 20-30 minute ride to the airport. Think it was by metro, but it was 30 years ago....
Anyway, I thought it was quite nice, bigger than most rooms in Paris, and a reasonable price.
