HeHe! But you know, the jobs they mentioned are what makes the world go round, to a degree. I think that preschool teachers are waaayyy under compensated in addition to the pest control guy, slaughter house workers and dishwashers. People need to be compensated enough to make a life and most of them were listed as making about $20K a year. That's pathetic. At the same time, ironic; dishwasher is making about what an RJ pilot makes annually. Maybe more?

I didn't want to waste my time reading that article, but I did skim over it quickly and I don't even see any mention of what the "engineers" make. Just that they receive nothing other than a paycheck!?!?! What do you expect! Who decided to put skycaps in there, whats that all about.

I was wondering this myself. Do skycaps really make up to $100K a year?? That's amazing if it's true! Maybe I should rethink my place in the airlines.

Ok, here's the breakdown for a skycap.

100K per year is $8333.33 a month. If he/she works 5 days a week per month, that's almost $420 a day. Divide that by 8 hours and you get $52.80 per hour. So on top of the $10/hr that they make, they also rack up $42.80 in tips per hour?? Wow! I mean, what's the point in flying the planes if I can make more by handling the baggage?

For 42 bucks/hour in tips, I would think you'd have to be really hustling. But still, wow.
