Be expecting a simulated engine failure on the takeoff roll. That one almost got me. Easy ride overall.

Why didn't you go ahead and do the flight today? How was the oral?

The ceiling were at about 2800' and I would have done it had there not been the requirement of an emergency descent. I also didn't talk enough about zero side slip for the examiner. The oral was not good...the examiner walked in and had the "I'm better then you and I'm going to dig until I find out what you don't know enough about" attitude.

yep, you need 3000 at least to do maneuvers, plus maintain VFR. congrats on passing part 1, as for part 2 it seems like you know your stuff, just keep your eyes alert for VMC cuts.

And don't take your hand off the throttle during the Vmc Demo.

Done...passed. Now I have to finish the CFI for the semester to be done with flying. Wish me luck. Thanks for all your help and thoughts.
