Forums problem
I logged in and realized that the whole top portion of the forums are gone for me. I don't have access to the Major, Regional, or Cargo forums. This happen to anyone else too, or if not can someone tell me how to fix it?

I did move EugeneZ to the new/non-pilot user profile which restricts posting access to the Airline Pilot Forums section of the site. This profile is assigned to users that are not working pilots and attempts to keep the dialog in the Airline Pilot section relevant.
It's a tough call to filter users like this. On one hand we want to be inclusive of everyone yet our primary mission is to provide a relevant resource to qualified working pilots (thus the name - Airline Pilot Central).
This user profile accomplishes that goal of allowing new/non-pilots (students and hobbyists) to read the forums without the ability to engage in dialog where they have no background or experience. The user group still allows full access and privilege to post in the flight training section and other pilot lounge forums.
Is this profile arbitrary? No, it's earned based on post history.
Is this profile disciplinary? No

Hey bro, the powers that be decided that you did, or said, something that wasn't up to par for the professional pilot fourms. It happens.
You're not a professional pilot and certain things are expected of you to participate at those forums.
If you can't find satisfaction here, I'd suggest Jetcareers. That site is set up for the newbie to an extent this one isn't. Not knocking this site, as I used to be a mod at JC, but that's the way it is.

I understand your angst, but your not a working airline pilot - are you? I made the judgment call that 17 year olds that haven't started flight training don't have the background or experience to state as fact some of the positions that you're taking on this forum.

If you still have questions, PM me & leave your phone number. I'd be happy to discuss it with your further.
