Guess that means "NO 707's!!!" In the nicest way possible

I have been in there several times. They just completed a "revamp" of the runway (that Travolta mostly paid for), so I'm sure that it is in great shape now.

I wonder why he doesn't have the PIC type on the 707? On the FAA data base it says 707 SIC priveledges only.

Thumbs up Jt

Few years ago I flew some people to DAL to meet up with JT for a book signing. I asked if I could come along.
Was allowed to go to the back of the bldg where he was arriving. He met all the big whigs that were standing there and then I was introduced to him as their pilot.
He dropped everything he was doing with them and wanted to talk flying!
No kidding, they were wanting him to go inside, where a thousand screaming women were waiting and he delayed it, as he really just wanted to talk flying.
We spent a good 15 minutes talking about the 707, etc. He was a real treat to talk to, very friendly. Just wish my bosses hadn't been standing there, so I could have begged for a job! I'd love to fly that 707!!
No scientology for me though!!

Wonder what his hour requirements are? I may send a resume... probably should get some time in the E model first though!
