What the story on GoJet?

Thanks Rickair. I appreciate the info. I am very familiar with Freedom. Offered me a job and I turned them down for that very reason. Unfortunately there are a lot of Lorenzo-type, scumbag owners/managers out there that only care about one thing............making a buck at everyone else's expense. The sad thing is that the few unprofessional, winer pilots that are out there don't make it any better for the rest of us. I know several airline managers most of whom used to be line pilots that have turned nearly 180 degrees. All they do is complain about pilots and thus forget where they came from. But every dog has his day and one day soon there will be redemption. You can only throw so many low-time pilots into jobs until the FAA takes notice. The regionals are going to be hurting in the next few years. It's going to be interesting.
One thing however I think is disgusting is to see the term "scab" thrown around as loosely as it is in this business. A scab is a strikebreaker. Not the right term here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strikebreaker

From what I understand there arent that many low timers at gojets...The airline that they are taking flying from TSA, is hiring now at the minimums of 400-100. If any calls shennanigans I can post the link to that very spot...I would call them opportunists more than anything else...saw something enticing and jumped at, undercutting or not. We can call them whatever we want but regardless we share the sky with them...They are fellow pilots, however that doesnt really mean much..
Just something to think about from a semi-old timer.
