No, its illegal to seize someone else's property for an unpaid bill. Ran into it when I was a mechanic. You can't boot, prop lock or whatever. If there is property of yours on the aircraft such as engines than you can take those.

That is walking a very fine line and you can be forced to move the aircraft by the police so they can remove their property no matter how much they owe. You have to be very careful in following the law exactly or depending on the state not be able to exercise the lien or worse, get arrested.

The MRJ won't be ready until late 2015 likely 2016, by then Delta will be negotiating a new contract and United and American should be close to theirs as well. Things are likely to change drastically over the next 12 months imagine 2016. Colgan used to be considered the lowest by some folks and they won't be around in a few months so who knows what will happen, and likely the MRJ might never see production!

I don't think an aircraft over 76 seats can go on the GoJetssss certificate without being in violation of DALPA's scope clause.

Then again, maybe the Republic carve-out applies to GoJetsss as well?

I was wondering if someone from gojet could give a brief answer to the following questions. I have offers from gojet and shuttle America and trying to get all facts before deciding

1) what about is health insurance cost per month for employee only and employee and spouse. If you know about dental and vision I would appreciate that info also
2) what is 401k match from company
3) normal junior base
4)how quick to hold a line

Any othe HELPFUL information would be appreciated to help me decide

Thank you ahead of time

Oh, you need info before you decide? I don't know much about the company, but I'd stop flying altogether before I worked at GoJet. Could someone get this guy the information he desires so he can decide? He apparently didn't ask in the interview.

Why do you have to be a dic about it? The guy is just asking questions and your high and mighty ego just can't control itself.

N2core, Like I said helpful. It really does no good when you are no help for others. I know the history but its that, HISTORY not the present. I also know how they are the low bidder but that's business. I also don't want to go to republic and be screwed if they strike or declare bankruptcy.
