Yep. But the regional/mainline management made this mudpile, they can wallow in it when the demand for pilots exceeds the qualified number of pilots. Will be nice for pilots to be in the drivers seat for a change. Don't expect it to last, but will enjoy it for a while nonetheless.

And why did they start taking the flying for Republic? Because Republic coulndn't get a B scale. Regionals sould their souls in the 80s to mainline to get flying that mainline pilots refused to fly for substandard wages, thus getting around the mainline pilot contracts. Wanna talk about the Northwest shifting RJ flying to Pinnacle. You don't wan't to go there. Like I said, if you think Pinnacle's sheets are lily white in this mess, you really don't know what you are talking about. Every regional took flying from somebody else. Deal with it.

I never understood how people can rag on Gojets when EVERY regional out there has done the same thing. And every pilot at regionals currently and past have played a part in taking flying away from mainline pilots. To those pilots Currently at regionals that read this: I'm not criticizing you, I understand completely your position in that you want to further your career, but don't turn around to the people behind you taking regional jobs and point the finger at them. They are just as guilty as you are.

Also Kat, regionals don't "take" flying, they are given flying. The pilots don't own the routes/planes,their company does. Looks like you are the one that needs to "get over it."

Ever hear of a DC-9-10? If they're still around, go talk to some of the Ex NWA/Republic/Southern Captains about that flying. They'll give you an education. Where do you think that service started? You think Express I came up with that flying?

Now you're getting into silly sematics. If the pilots don't own the flying, then you should have no problem with the flying going to Gojets.

In all honesty Carl I work with former TSA pilots. Most were there for 6-7-8 + years. We laugh at the misery that is/was Hulas sweat shop. I hope you guys can escape that horrible place soon. I honestly mean that. It's a whole different life when you leave the regionals. I wouldn't go back & work for Hulie again if they offered me 10 year Captain pay and/or top 10 on the seniority list. I will go put my application in as the guy who mows the grass on the airport before that. Seriously, I know you guys are in a tough spot but you did it to yourselves along with Dario and ALPO. Hulie leaped at the opportunity when it came along. He's a crude business man & doesn't care one bit about any of his employees. Remember that mechanic that was shot-killed in STL? His company paid life insurance was less than 24 hours of being implemented after his "probationary" period and Hulie didn't care. He didn't help his widowed wife and her newborn at all & he didn't care to help in any fashion. He's a turd in a regional punch bowl and he's happy to play the part. He only cares about himself. I know you (and all other TSH employees understand this) but others who read this forum may not. I worked and flew with a lot of great folks at GoJetsS and I know there are great folks at TSA and every other airline. I never respected the TSA guys that initially came over (especially S.P.) but it is what it is. I would love nothing more than for every pilot under the TSH banner walk away & leave Hulie hanging but it will never happen. Again, I wish everyone the best including GoJet pilots. The best day I ever had was walking into the crew room after my last leg throwing my books onto the base Chief Pilots desk, throwing my hat into the trash then going home taking off my official blue jacket and burning it in my backyard pit while throwing down some suds. Greatest day EVER!!
