Gojet preparing for CRJ 900's
#151
I have a gojet and a shuttle class and im wondering if its best to just stay at pinnacle. Too much going on over at Republic. If you ask me nobody wants to go to another airline just to go through the same crap again because there are a bunch of monkeys running the company. A person would have to be an idiot to not think about his options and see whats best for them.

I would hate to see a fellow pilot go over there for a fast upgrade and all of a sudden the water gets stagnant. We could all think of better places to be stuck if things happen.

To anyone who seriously thinks that they're "holding the line" or "staying true to themselves" by staying loyal to post-bankruptcy Pinnacle--I have some beachfront property to sell to you...
When Hulas wanted a way around ALPA, he created a new airline.
When Pinnacle wanted a way around ALPA, they bought Colgan.
When Colgan voted in ALPA, Pinnacle needed another way around ALPA (and the new labor agreement), so they paid out 30% of the company's profits to Trenary and bankrupted themselves.
If you believe so strongly in "holding the line," that you would "never" go to GoJet, then I seriously hope you're turning in your resignation at 9e soon--otherwise, you don't really have any moral high ground from which to pontificate.

You are right, I am considering them for the quick upgrade as well. People say you can hold a line right away as well with a good amount of days off. Then again I also came to colgan for the quick upgrade and we all know how that turned out. This industry has lots of up and downs therefore making choices are tough. I also got hired at skywest but with the long commute it would mean not being home with my little one as much. There are 80% of regionals hiring at the moment but only a select few could be considered. Its like you implied, each person has their own reasons and I wish everyone luck with their decisions.

I have yet to stumble across one person here who has a loyalty to said airline. With all these people considering GoJets for work, I guess I just can't believe what I'm hearing. We as pilots are so naive. We are all going to be working for less garbage than we already are if pilots keep going there. Especially the pilots who know better. What a disgrace. There is NO excuse to work for that company.

for the 1,000th time +
When you get to move away from the regional world nobody cares where you came from. Most of my coworkers came from the regionals...Trans Statesss included and they don't care.
Ok, back to the normal whining and pointing fingers.

You do realize that Trans States is normally spelled with an "s" at the end of it, right? So adding two more to the end doesn't really have the same effect as someone adding an "s" to GoJet. It just makes you look like a child.
Seriously pause, I thought you were better than that
