I might be wrong but just throwing my thoughts in. They won't start getting rid of 200s until the 717s start coming at delta correct? Aren't those start coming in like April 13 or something around there. Pinnacle's 900s in atl are up at end of year so what's stopping delta from just moving those to gojet and has nothing to do with the new contract. I could be wrong and haven't read in detail the facts of everything but it could make sense

There's nothing in the delta contract that says 2 for 1. But that's not what is driving the swap. The 2 for 1 idea is for carriers that have delta on contract for 200's for the considerable future. I think skywest has many years left on contract for the 200's. It's delta's idea to propose to these places a 2 for 1 swap for 900's. Pinnacle being in bankruptcy and delta providing the DIP financing obviously changes the dynamic. I'm not sure exactly what they can or can't unilaterally impose on them.

Is there any chance that GoJet will take Pinnacle's 16 CRJ-900's that are headed out?

I'd say that is probable unless Delta finds a way to keep them. It appears Delta is looking to build Gojet as its low ball alternative in the mix to keep other regionals from increasing their costs.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but 9E is the title holder for those 900's. In order for gojet to get them would they not have to buy them? Or Delta would take them on? Seems to me like TSH has a lot wrapped up in those Mrjs to consider more financing... just a thought.

Trans States is banking on AA scope gutting to allow those fantasy jets to fly as American Connection. Otherwise they will have to be sold or worse, pressed into service in a massive white elephant attempt to compete in the real world of airline flying ala IndyAir.
