Funny story, had a g7 guy ask for the Jumpseat a while back, I asked for his ID he said it was in his bag, I said "ok who do you work for?" He said Transtates Holdings, I said "which aircraft do you fly?" He then took the slip out of my hands and went right up the jetway. The gate agent said that this was the second flight with seats he couldn't get on. Can't imagine why!
It sounds from the way you rip on everyone who is not Xjet "legacy" that maybe you're the one who can't sleep at night because you are so concerned with what everyone else is doing.

Why don't you move onto something that doesn't fly an RJ because it sounds like you hate everyone around you.

Also, does it make you feel like a big man when you turn down jumpseaters. I'm very impressed with how you think you are saving the profession 1 rejected jumpseater at a time.

I want to be your friend.

So does my airline. Don't kick me off the jumpseat if I say EMJ and it makes you uncomfortable cool guy.

Also, Delta's story is the new planes are required as "bribes" to force DCI regionals to swap out their 50s early. GoJetsss doesn't fly 50s for Delta, therefore no reason for Delta to bribe them.

and I like it !

Whichever will allow you to live in base is your answer. It makes being an airline pilot a completely different job.

Are guys getting lines right away or sitting reserve for a while, because commuting for reserve is completely different than commuting for a line. I agree though, being home based is even better. With all the hiring ( 40+ guys in a class), will upgrade still be quick?

new hire FO's have been getting lines right away.

also, the new hire class sizes are causing additional growth rumors to circulate.

Of course there are rumors of new growth. Gojets is the absolute bottom of the barrel as far as regionals go. The guys who work for dirt cheap with little to no union representation are a codeshare's wet dream.

Funny thing. Karma's a b-tch. Can't wait for the day you ask for a Jumpseat on mainline and some as-hole denies you a ride because you fly an RJ and are the scum of the Earth ruining his career...in his eyes...

While I agree it's the bottom of the barrel this is funny coming from a Trans Statesss alter-Eagle pilot. Keep it classy
