Why you shouldn't hate GoJet pilots

Whenever I read these GJ threads, the armchair psychologist in me thinks of the term 'Rationalization', which has the person coming up all sorts or arguments or theories on why what they have done is correct and how everyone else is wrong or mistaken. Freud used the term "Comfortable Illusion", which is what the OP is trying to do: Create his/her own reality.

I know the immediate reaction to this post may be emotional, it may be to call me out, flame me, block me, or close this thread. But, hear me out and try to engage in a mature constructive dialog with me here.
Right off the bat, I'll say that I don't have anything to do with GoJet. I'm not a TSA pilot, nor a GoJet pilot (heck, I don't think I've ever even met one). I used to share the same feelings that most of us do towards GoJet, but I've come to the following realization.
From what I understand about the whole situation, the hate for GoJet pilots stems from their undercutting Trans States pilots and "taking" "their" flying. Flying they believe they've worked hard for and sacrificed long to have. Sure there are more small details, but thats the overall situation.
I don't think any pilot who has ever been at a regional airline that flies outsourced flying has any room to stand on to hate GoJet. GoJet pilots simply did to Trans States pilots what every single regional airline pilot has done to mainline pilots. They took advantage of weak scope and a harsh management team to gain flying/opportunities/etc at the expense of lower pay.
Every argument made against a GoJet pilot can be made against every regional airline pilot. They didn't do anything worse than what any of the others have. The flying they're blamed for taking wasn't even taken from the Trans States pilots in the first place, it was taken away from United pilots with the Trans States pilots thinking they would be the benefactors. A lot of it may be emotional, people who have a tough life always like to project their problems onto others and have someone to look down upon, with GoJet being an easy target.
It sucks. Its a horrible game we're all playing, but GoJet pilots are playing the same game everyone else is. From now on, I will solely look at them as I do any other outsourced pilots.

Obviously you don’t understand how GoJet was created. You should do some research before you post such and ignorant statement.

Didn't a bunch of United furloughs end up a GoJet? Personally, I think it's a good thing to pref hire furloughs but what do I know

I mostly agree with the original poster. And as far as getting your time for the majors. Military, charter, corporate??? Those would work. I've just heard from too many regional pilots about their industry leading contract ( respective to regionals) and cannot understand how they are able to convince themselves that there is really that much difference in them and the bottom feeders.
Strong contract, decent pay, at a regional? You have to be joking. Way to set that bar.
Let's be honest. Lack of scope is the mainline's fault ( union and pilot group) for agreeing to give it away. Regional airlines take advantage of this, just like newer pilots take advantage of it to gain experience to better their qualifications. If anything it should be a stepping stone, not a career. Go to the place to get quick pic and leave that place in the dust. And no, I never flew at gojete or any other regional for that matter.

As for a strong contract, I should have added the word "relatively". Still, TRIP RIG, DUTY RIG, MX CANCELATION PAY, WX CANCELATION PAY, 1.5 PAY FOR ALL OPEN TIME, DAY OFF FOR JUNIOR MAN, 100% DH PAY... I could go on. MOST regionals did not compare when I was hired.

The reason regional airlines exist are because the mainline pilots sold-out scope. period
