TSA and GJ fly different aircraft and therefore would not be bidding on the same flying...

Says who? Why couldn't they fly the mrj or even the turbo prop? I understand Tsa has the atr certificate. But that doesn't mean you can't fly any kind of turbo prop. Again, i'm not saying it's absolutely true. I just think it is possible.

They can't fly the first 10 MRJs unless TSA is not around. And what source do you have to show that GJ is competing against TSA for turbo prop flying? And GJ can't operate small TP due to the LOA..

There is a rumor that their union went to management and offered to fly a "large turboprop" for cheaper than TSA when the ATR rumor was all over the place. Then there was 2 years ago when they were looking at getting -200's.

The problem I have with these rumors is that they have not been substantiated at all.

I know one guy at TSA that started a bunch of rumors for the entertainment value and while it was entertaining they never came true and now people wonder why the company was thinking...

Not everyone has to fly a 747 to prove their manhood or flying skills. If someone is happy with a senior QOL at a regional, so be it.

I wonder if doctors at the Mayo Clinic get on webmdcentral.com and tell other doctors "you will never leave the Minor Medical center next to your house with weekends off and 9-5 to perform 14 hour surgeries and 68 hour days!!!! I'd be angry too!!! Work your whole career and be happy at a minor med!!!!!!"
