If that is your opinion, why do you have anything against ANY regional? Regionals (especially jet regionals) are just flying the same routes you are in smaller planes for smaller pay. All GoJet did was undercut the folks that you think are undercutting you.
Also, giving up scope is "in the past and that sucked", so quit griping that ALL regionals are evil.

(On a side note, I read some of your old posts to try to understand where you are coming from. All I could learn from the last year of your posts is you seem to be a very bitter person. You seem to think high speed rail is a good thing, Alec Baldwin is a political genius, and that you consider everyone else who posts arrogant and not quite as brilliant as you. In my case, you are probably right. I was just a lowly Seaman who, after serving, got his tickets and did the dirty 135 thing for a long time before moving on to the Holy Grail that is 121. Luckily for me, I don't have quite as much to prove and can accept I am just an average Joe.

Nice straw man attempt. I didn't say all regionals are evil....never even implied it and didn't complain about the scope mistakes in 90's. I am just saying that there is no difference between GJ and the others and I tire of the hypocrisy. If someone wants to fly for a regional, fine. I did it myself. However, one should not get high and mighty when someone starts a thread to get interview/training gouge on GJ just because they hold themselves in ethical high regard for working at, i.e., Skywest.

Mostly, it's about timing. Did 9 years in the right seat at a "good" regional really do me any favors? Lots of people went to "bad" regionals, upgraded quickly and went on to the majors. I don't think they're up nights because the shame haunts them. ASA and XJT are "good" regionals in my book, but does anyone really want to be the bottom guy there now with all those 50-seaters in the fleet?

There are lots folks (i.e. self-righteous evangelists) that take the moral high ground too.....but don't look at what's below their feet.
