I think bernouli and I have come to agree to disagree on the subject of GoJet and since we are passed that, the only thing left is to do is take playful jabs at each other. Do I really think that every single pilot at GoJet is a douchebag? Of course not. Couldn't be possible. Do I think they are hurting the industry by working there? Yes, to some extent. The real damage was done back in 2005. Those guys who went there in the beginning are definitely douchebags, every last one. So, as I said before, my beef is with management and this is one of the few ways I can fight back. The written word has weight that my voice could never give it.

2. I didn't intend to make a personal thing about you and me. Just my opinions as you stated, nothing more. And I wasn't talking about you personally having a class date over there. I was using "you" as a more general statement for "anyone who reads this." Sorry for the misunderstanding. And I agree, we all have to make a personal choice about our lives based on our moral values and past experiences. No one's holding a gun to your head. As for our TSA bros who end up over there... I don't know anyone who has decided to go over there, but I'm sure I will here in the near future. Sucks for them, I guess. They should've gone a long time ago if they were gonna do it now.

Like you said, we know each other, we got the mutual respect thing going on. My opinions are mine and yours are yours. Whatever I say here will probably have little effect on the world. I'm weening myself off the Forum little by little anyway, as I have bigger fish to fry. Even so, old habits die hard
Fair enough.

No, not sure where you got that info but it is far from being correct.

You know I do not care what airline has a jumpseat agreement with Gojet. What a load of BS. If you let me on yours, then guess what I will let you on mine. What a bunch of babies!!!!! I don't jumpseat very often but when I do it would be nice to know I can get on. So maybe if you jumpseat you might want to let me on because I will remember who you work for.

I agree, I always gave offline J/S riders a ride whether or not we had a reciprical agreement, because that is the first step to getting one; an olive branch not a briar branch. Often those that negotiate the J/S agreements may have their own personal agenda, without even considering their pilot group's best interest. I worked at an airline where the J/S coordinator was not even a commuter. ***, right??? FWIW, Frats.

As for the Trans States guys going there, that's their decision. I'm one of those guys who made the decision not to go there. Exploring other avenues. Would GoJet get me what I needed (TPIC) faster than the way I'm going about it now? Probably, yes. But it's a personal choice. I'll take the long, high road and feel good about myself. And really, that's all that matters. If you can live with yourself working for GoJet, so be it. Do I agree with you? Certainly not.

As for ALPA, they can stick their "preferential hiring" where the sun don't shine. What a worthless piece of junk that is. If we could use it to get on with Compass, that'd be great, but you're still working for the same man who furloughed you in the first place. I'd rather start over at Skywest Inc. (ExpressJet or Skywest) or ... well, basically that's it. I don't agree with Republic, Eagle's in the sh!tter, PinaColAba's about to get nasty, GIA sucks, Great Lakes ain't much better, ain't nowhere looking decent right now. Basically I'm looking at ACMI, international contracts, converting to JAA, or bust. I doubt I'll ever come back to the regional world.
Hi Carl, I saw in another thread where you were having difficulties with Unemployment Benefits; unfortunately I have a lot of experience with these people. If you want to PM me, I may be able to provide some helpful info. Good luck. L
