I have personally denied a few.
Next time I hear a "Trans States" pilot jumpseat and I find out they are GoJet I am going to post their name on this board.

Oh, aren't you just the best; oh skipper of the sky....
get over yourself, and stop trying to start a jumpseat war....
there are ways to deal with it, and going lone ranger isn't one of them.
Grow up.

HAHAHAHAHAHA......seriously?? you're going to post this thread that deals with one of the few remaining professions with strong(ish) unions?!
You may not be that bright. Well, maybe you are torn then. You know that if you go to GoJet you're probably going to have to go to great lengths to hide your employer from certain people.
I really don't care either way. But if you take the GoJet job, you're probably going to have to lie. To many people. Good luck.

I posted this thread asking for valuable advice and opinions, 95% of people on here have made solid, valid arguments for and against GoJet. I can discount yours though, as you have obviously not taken the time to read the thread. [mod edit: you were doing great until here... deleted]

What about the airline that wanted 70 seaters? Should they be held liable also?
My point is that the arguement that a recently hired GoJet pilot has put his career in jeopardy by going there is a nonstarter. Did he have anything to do with the creation of the company? No. Will there any effect to the company if a few guys choose to not work there for whatever reason? No. All those guys who are working there after the company was formed (i.e. not anyone responsible for creating the work-around to the 50 seat scope) are not responsible for anything but providing for their families and giving a safe ride to their passengers.

Without getting myself too far into the mud slinging... A company that had trouble filling classes even during one of the worst down-turns in the history of the industry, has to make a would be employee think twice about their reputation within that industry. I realize a lot of people that 'had' to go there have justified it to themselves but if you have an option, strongly consider it.
