For the original poster, this is one of many threads just on this site, which targets the subject. Interestingly enough, it's the same three people defending gojets, and the other 30 folks are clearly against the very existence of the company. That's a 10-1 ratio, just in one thread and in one site. Feel free to research the subject, but you'll find this to be the trend; and a pretty good indicator of how the industry feels about gojets and their pilots.

Ahh Mr Bond...we meet again...sorry couldnt help myself.

Airwillie.....when are you gonna realize that NOBODY is going to listen to you and your like 3 other Gojet cohorts on this forum.....you are extremely out numbered by true union airline pilots.

Everytime one of thise threads gets started you keep trying to pass out the same Koolaid that your company spoon feeds you and the rest of your pilots.

And again...please change your screen name....unless your name is indeed Willie and you have an either a shoe named after you...or another Alter-Ego airline. You are certainly no Air Wisconsin Pilot.

I am glad you at least recognize that the company was created to "screw" the TSA pilots; that's a step in the right direction.
Did the GoJet guys screw the TSA guys? No, the TSA guys screwed themselves. Are the GoJet guys profiting at the TSA guys' expense? Maybe, maybe not. Again, the TSA guys had first crack at what was growth flying and turned it down. GoJet didn't steal any flying from TSA.

Also I have no idea where you pulled the pay thing but it's totally un true, look at the pay scales. GJ isn't on the bottom or even the lower paid CRJ7 operators. As far as the JS thing it did happen back in 05 but with the help of the Union, it's a non issue in fact there were CAs fired at TSA for refusing a JS. We've got the jumpseat reps, no problems there.

Please see the replies above, but to address your misconception, I fly a 50 seater and our scale is better than gojets' on a 70 seater.

Oh and before I forget, gojets was created during the negotiating process with TSA...the timeline alone spells out the given name - ALTER EGO airline!

Air Wille. Keep drinking the koolaid. Tell yourself whatever you have to. Your are at a dead end job. What goes around comes around. You will get yours in the end i promise you. Go Jets wont be around forever. you will find yourself on the street one day knockin on doors that wont open because of your choices. And even if you stay where you are. that is punishment enough. I have been a waterskier and i know how they treated us. i can only imagine how they treat you guys. the weak ones that will bend over for a company that cares nothing for you and your employees. congrats! really on your job. you deserve it! thumbs up

Give it time. It seems like this one is still kind of mild.

I will make the same point I have in past threads. It is written into at least some Gojet hotel contracts that they have to have a separate van than all the other crews. If nobody else cares, as our 3 gojet defenders sometimes claim, why is that necessary? Why do Gojet pilots claim to work for "Trans States Holdings" when trying to get a jumpseat?

As for the comment about their union, gojet is represented by the teamsters local 618, NOT the local 747 (which is the airline pilot division)... According to their website, the local 618 specializes in representing: gas station attendants... yep...

However, the regionals are fighting to better their contracts. GJ ruined TSAs fight for higher wages and a better qol. TSA scope says that any additional flying must be flown by TSA pilots..but unfoturnately, the scope wasnt solid enough in the court of law. This screws every airline pilot with a weak scope clause. If GJ isnt able to find pilots, then TSA Holdings will be forced to combine airlines and TSA pilots would be able to bring back their furloughees.

for the original poster... the fact that air willie is the only one here defending gj should say something. and he is forever justifying his move from being a TSA furloughee to a GJ fo. whatever. i've given up. as a waterskier, i can tell u there are guys/gals here that were furloughed and/or didn't upgrade for a long time because of it, and the grudge is still held. so youll never be on one of our js's. oxygen somehow goes below that required for 3 ppl in the cockpit everytime. i dont give this long before this thread is closed. i can even tell u it'll be de27ups that closes it. i should get into the future telling business.

o btw... dont be surprised if tsa and gj get merged when the amr scope goes byebye when we stop flying for them. hopefully the likes of gj defenders wind up back on the street because of it. should be some happy freakin family.
