I am just trying to formulate an educated opinion about GJ. I am new to the game, and all I can find is comments from people who do not even work for them. I know GJ is not the greatest airline, but poeple like me need to know the pro and cons from pilots who actually work for them.

If you do a search for any other airline, you can find tons of information, but not about GJ.
It is not enough saying that GJ is a scab or an alter ego. I, we need to know if those opinions have any actual repercussion on GJ pilots.

I am probabily too liberal, because I believe in supporting each other as individuals instead of poking each other like kids do. (if there is the need of venting personal frustration, there are other better ways)

I can't speak for that company itself, but what I will tell you is that this job isn't worth the kind of criticism you'd get if you went there. Don't look past the people telling you that their reputation is a bad one. To me, that's reason enough to strike a company off the list. There are a multitude of other airlines out there with better reputations.

Whatever the QOL, work enviornment, etc. is at GoJet, one who chooses to work there must accept he will be considered a pariah (kinda like working for the IRS, you better be able to take the heat). If being an outcast and being called (by some) a scab is acceptable, feel free look into GJ. But if you don't want to be called names, you should consider looking elsewhere.

GoJet is owned by the same people who own Trans States, which makes me question the friendliness of management over there.
Here's something else to think about: no block or better, flying for United Express out of ORD.

I work for GoJet check your private messages. Yes we have just hired around 10 street captains and pay block or better. I have only gotten flak from another pilot once and I do wear my ID properly like every other professional aviator.

You are pretty generous there, buddy...

But I've got to admit you've got gonads to come and own-up here. That's all I'll give you. Maybe when we meet sometime in a Terminal somewhere, I'll be the second Pilot to give you flak.
