There was a gojeter posting on here last month, and it did not take very long for him to be outed, and he never posted again.

He seemed like a somewhat intelligent man, and once he was outed, and I cannot remember if he did it himself or someone else did, he never posted again.

That is the only one that I know that I knew from his own private message to me that he was go jet.

Leads me to the conclusion that they are "viewers" only.

I really do not expect many more to make their presence known

Reeves...............
Thanks for the complement, You are correct, some are viewers only. I'm not one who needs to have the last word (maybe I've been married to long).

BTW, It's good to see you guys picked up that extra flying....

I wish you well!!!

Sorry redbaron, no more one-liners for me! Don't need any more warnings LoL. I've made it clear how I feel on the subject, as has everybody else.

See ya, and please make the right choice...

The smarter guys would have the ability to discuss this without the flames and insults in spite of the fact that it's an emotionally charged issue.

I'm no fan of GJ based on my understanding of the how's and why's of their beginnings. Unfortunately, there is little talk of that and an unwillingness of those who work there to give their opinion. One thing I know for sure, the flamebait and insults aren't going to get us anywhere.

What type or repercussions are you talking about? Not being talked to in the terminal, getting the finger from another crew taxing out? What?

Gojet pilot point of view, a. i needed a job , b. they've got shiny jets, c. I don't care if i fly the big plane for the little plane money, D. It was the quickest way for me to bypass all those people who were more senior to me in order to get to the captains seat first. Exactly what do you think a company is going to offer you? Most of them pay pennies for your hard work and long days, also remember that the COMPANY management is the same management group that violated the Trans States contract and created the Alter-Ego carrier in the first place, they won't offer you anything worth while, and if it becomes you or them, they'll violate your contract, and you'll have to deal with it.

And no, the company isn't well organized or efficient. They're shortsided and organized like a 4 year old's crayon box.

And why then did you get on a airline pilot forum to run an idea by a "handful" of angry airline pilots if you weren't going to listen to the handful of angry airline pilots in the first place? If you are trying to justify your job offer from gojet before you start training, so be it, but you'll find very little sympathy, and zero empathy here, nor anywhere else on the internet. Go hang out in a dark corner of the ORD airport with the rest of your outcast buddies.

Thank you all for assisting me in my decision. As I ve mentioned earlier, I have sent few applications (not to GJ) to the airlines.

I hope that sometimes soon I will be able to be part of your world, and experience first hand the emotion of being an airline pilot.

Experimental not hard feelings, thank you for the suggestions.

EXACTLY. I too have friends that went through both of those scenarios because of GoJet. Good friends of mine that had to endure that because of what those pilots and Hulas did. Good enough reason for all of you????

Listen, for those getting wrapped around the axle about the word "scab", in the basic , traditional sense the GoJetters are not scabs. I think that word is used in lieu of others alot more harsh that would get us all infractions and suspensions from APC. If you aren't smart enough to decifer that work rules, pay, QOL and reputation at GoJet are subpar from the myriad of responses to the original question in this thread , then you have no business in a 121 environment. Period. Rant over.

I'm a fan of the word "scum", as in pond scum, sewer scum, etc.

Red Baron,

Don't take this the wrong way and I think we all appreciate that at least you asked about GJ before applying there.

I hate to say it, it's not a handful of pilots that don't like them, there are a lot of them out there. We might not give them the finger or say "unprofessional" things on the radio, but we know what Trans States Holdings did and we know what these pilots are complicit to. We know that they helped put pilots on the street and whip saw TSA.

I cringe when I hear "Lindbergh" on the radio (Chuckie is rolling in his grave) and I would have no problem telling one of their pilots how I feel if I had the chance (calmly, like this post, of course).

I also can't think of a good reason to go there. The only possibly viable excuse is a St. Louis base, but unfortunately TSA and Chautauqua already have one, so that's out the door.

RB, this is the opinion of anyone who cares in the industry, not just a "handful of pilots who populate the forums".

If you have any more questions, please ask away, I think we'd love to point you in the right direction and tell you what we think.

Just don't take it personally when people give you their opinions. :-)

Good Luck!
