Sorry but you're continuously failing to make any good points.
Name a Union guy... Easy. Will Sargent. a 10ish year GoJetter that made the jump to PSA. Lateral move.

F138-
Your prior comment makes a whole lot more sense now.. I actually thought that you were being serious. I too, have been fooled by the "BIG news friday", it was the FO pay raise that never happened haha.

A real flow and a 100+% pay raise isn’t a lateral move

What makes their flow more real than the United flow? The AA flow is taking no less than 6 years and that's before their recent announcement of slowing it down. Aviate for the GJ pilot group is actively moving and is a 3-4 year flow.

The Aviate flow is passing over many of their pilots for having various infractions against their ardeous rules. A sick call, a fatigue call, a training failure, Aviate will just go silent when they should've been next in line.

The Aviate flow will take different length of time depending on what time and quals you come in with. It requires a certain number of hours in service of UAX, PIC, total time etc. A 1000/1250 CFI or 750 mil will need to build 2500-3500 hours for UAX, which at the current rate of stagnation will easily take 6 years. FOs are building 300 hour a year or less on reserve.

In the past, DECs have been utilized exclusively as FO, because Gojet is one of the few airlines that make everyone dual qualified, so Captains routinely sit right seat and don't log PIC.

Many street captains at Gojet went for over a year without getting off high mins because they never flew as captain. Had they not quit, it would take them a decade to build 1000 jet PIC.

FOs joining Gojet today will take 3 to 5 years to get their hours to upgrade. Which is why new hires are quitting within weeks of finishing training once they get the type rating. With the type rating they qualify for higher bonuses at the real regional airlines and enjoy better QOL and functional accumulation of flight hours.

See the earlier post about an FO logging 119 hours in a year.

FOs gets most of their trips dropped so new hires can do IOE. Then those new-hires quit within six months.

At one point in a conference call, management said they would have to give ALL of their flight hours to the training department to meet their hiring goals. United is only buying a few thousand hours a month, line pilots are sitting at home while check airmen are training Aviate cadets before they too realize they've been bamboozled and quit/go to Spirit/go to Frontier/go to Jet Blue/another regional.

Gojet is currently so dysfunctional it can do years of damage to people who get caught up in their lies.

Well good luck to you. Things are still stabilizing after the Covid shock and hiring boom that cleaned a lot of captains out of all of the regionals, not just gojet. Good number of upgrades on the list just released, and a few DECs. Hopefully that translates to more flying soon, and it will.

Going from one regional to another is a lateral move. The flow and pay raise are reasons why someone would make a lateral move.
