Ya. You look at the few private companies in the sector, (TSA, Wisconsin). They have been around a long time. The owners are hitting retirement age..(think he’s over 65 actually)... I think your right. TSA behind the scenes is positioning itself into a exclusive UA carrier. First the AA flying. Now DL (presumably)..

Last report had 4 of the United CRJ-700s parked because of scope limitations. Has that number gone up in the last couple of weeks? Is there a way to track that?
Has GJ flying gone down, pilot count gone down, pilot hours gone down, pilot hiring gone down? With expanded summer flying and increased vacations it probably has not been seen. September will be a crash I'm guessing?
Any word on the CRJ-550s from anyone official willing to put his name on it? Assuming they will come eventually, when does the EWR flying begin?

That site is updated every few days and has been for at least 7+ years. Sometimes there’s minor mistakes but for the most part they do a fabulous job of tracking the UA fleet.
There is also a regular discussion about the UA fleet on flyertalk. The same guys that update the fleet tracking site show any updates on flyertalk as well. Here’s the flyertalk link if interested:
