I’m seeing an uptick in UAX flying at IAH for OO.
There is an uptick for OO. Thats mainly the RPA flying they took which wasnt much. C5 put out hiring for mx in IAH. Right now only 145s can fit in some of those lower B gates (unless its reconfigured). They will be getting a chuck of XJTs flying there

Im not saying they wont. But JO doesnt spend money for nothing. He knows something no one else does. And Mesa will survive even if AA fleet comes out smaller. I think its more likely the MEC tries to ******* the pilot group. Bc those Union pieces of garbage are in his pocket

No quite. OO has 200’s going to those same B gates at IAH.
OO’s 60% increase in daily departures for the 175 makes sense as RPA is leaving...
OO has a 65% increase in CRJ200 daily departures from IAH as well.

Seeing those numbers, and assuming that routes aren’t coming back, I would say that all that XJT flying isn’t just going to C5.

Have we seen numbers on C5 IAH flying yet or are those still a secret for now?

As far as I understand C5 is hiring mx for IAH. How much flying will be theirs is a mystery. Im thinking 10-20 planes once xjt fades away.

I don't see any particular reason to think that "consolidating all United's 145 flying" means giving all of the current flying to C5. All it means is, any 145 flying done in the future will be done by C5. Skywest could take all that flying just as easily as anyone. Hell, even AW could take some if they could I'm sure. There's no reason IAH-JAN *has* to be on a 145.

I never said they were... 🤔
All i said was C5 is moving into IAH. That is happening. Now how much I do not know. AW could take some of XJT ORD flying. Mesa and Skywest will get some pieces for sure.

Btw the 200s are the next on the chopping block. There is a huge reduction of 200s coming.

And to clarify Im not saying all of them to avoid any confusion.

Why do you say there is a huge reduction coming?

Also AW did get Xjet ORD flying already if you look at the September schedule.

Wishful thinking from a guy whose company doesn’t fly any -200s

The industry is moving towards 175s... but not as quickly as some may think.

Rumor was that Skypest was giving United a break and not flying their minimum contractual block hours. Giving them 200 flying in IAH might help bring those numbers up.

That was not a rumor, OO waived minimum flying with all it's partners. Just a few days after it was announced AA started bringing back their airplanes and giving more flying to Envoy.
