Just checked IOCC and Netline/Ops both go dark 10/2. Bye Bye Hule.
3 out of 4 flights from ORD to MDT ON 10/13 operated by GJ.

First - I’m not saying GoJet is done. ExpressJet sent warn notices to everyone but are winding down by Dec 31.

Second - you can tell nothing from Oct Schedules.

Did you notice the 4th was an unnamed 175 starting on 10/1. GJ has been running 2 a day, not full. I checked loads. If you think they are adding flying on 10/1 I have a bridge for ya. My guess is they are trying to get enough tickets to fill that 175 before they remove any flights. Sorry bro. Again I am very sorry for all GJ employees. When they shut down TSA with a 1 week notice on 4/1 all they did was wish TSA a happy April fools day. HK and his cronies should not be in the airline business.

Unfortunately TSA was going to ‘wind down’ too.
I hope they make it until December.

Worst software EVER.

As for the flight schedules,it’s much easier to cancel and consolidate passengers than it is to scramble and find crews and add flights last minute

4th is a mainline flight, an A319, seems like the whole month (not a 175). I get that you can't tell anything from OCT schedules. UA is giving all of the regionals about 30 to 35 days notice for final schedules at this point, and even those are highly subject to change. So really all of this discussion tells you......absolutely nothing at all. That's why I was trying to get on here and just put my 2 cents, which is that nobody, not even the "top" infectious disease doctors in the country, can tell you what the virus numbers will be, whether people will be flocking back to the airlines or how slow the recovery will be. So, there is very little notice given from mainline to regional what the flight schedule will be (as well as the mainline flight operation / schedule). They can just as easily cancel flights on a 1 or 2 day notice as they can add a segment if flights are overbooked if the situation turns around. Hence my previous posts about speculation not always being a good thing. Of course everyone will continue to do it, but in this situation what is it really helping?

One thing you are overlooking is we are in for big changes 10/1 no doubt about it. The majors have already said they will be cutting back flights as soon as the Fed restriction is lifted. They are going broke if they don’t. When the music stops there won’t be enough chairs for everybody to sit down. We know this to be fact. What we don’t know for sure because they won’t tell us is who the winners will be. They can only hide so much and if someone gets an offer for any job to put food on the table maybe they can make a better decision if they believe their job is in jeopardy. If enough evidence can be presented that one company is more likely to go than another it is just the facts being laid out because you can be sure GJ and United will lie all week and twice on Sunday.

The only two companies yet to get WARN letters in the UAX fleet has been Mesa and Skywest. We all know that C5 is being saved and expanding to IAH.
so there is 3 “winners” right there

When did that news come out about C5?
I’m seeing an uptick in UAX flying at IAH for OO.
