Good article.
I think Aspen is also an unknown in the 550. Will the FAA sign off an SkyWest flying the 550 into Aspen. There are also a lot of CRJ700 sitting idle which could be driving their price down enough where they start replacing 200s.

Chicago to Aspen probably won’t be doable with the 550. LAX, SFO, and IAH may also be a bit too far.

Not true.

These will be in addition to the 54 already in conversion.
37% growth for the pilots at G7.

That is not true. The birds coming from Mesa in IAD account for the 50 total. It’s a net offset. Zero growth.

Unless there’s other news that has yet to be announced??

Any sources?

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.fool.com/amp/investing/2019/10/29/united-airlines-experiment-spacious-50-seat-jets.aspx

This says 54 total which is a growth of 4 airplanes min if I understand correctly.

Does anybody know why ship N653CA has not been re-registered? All of the other CRJ-550s have been re-registered as N5**GJ but not this one. And those others were re-registered a long time ago - for example N712EV has a pending change to 517GJ that was filed on 09/11/2019. faa.gov
