I agree. The bases where these will operate are too expensive for Mesa to open so Mesa - who owns the airframes will likely sell or lease them to GoJet. Mesa is equipping them with ADS-B Finally. About 1/4 of the fleet is done with in in progress at any given time. It seems to take a week to 10 days to complete one.
Another option is for Mesa to acquire Gojet.

I'm sure United first class customers are going to love that they now can get ORD-DSM first class seats on a 20 year old CRJ with a new interior that breaks more than it flies these days instead of a brand new airplane they thought they were getting

On top of that it looks like the thing will have issues on bad weather days with an alternate and a heavy bag load/full plane. Since it’s capped out at 65,000lbs it can only take around 6,000lbs fuel or so when fully loaded. That means with an alternate they may need to bump pax on those TUL/GSP/GSO/XNA routes.
